House Pick Up (1st Collection Day)

FIRST COLLECTION DAY

Information:

The COVID-19 pandemic has created confusion, health concerns, and economic struggles throughout our community. Social distancing practices, the inability to attend work, and economic depression make it difficult for many parents to go shopping, attend work or afford activities/supplies for their children. The virus has strongly impacted the families that attend the Tampa General Hospital Care Center Healthpark Clinic: Many children do not have access to school supplies, books, or toys to keep them entertained and prepared for the new school-year. If you wish to donate new or gently used supplies, select a collection date (bottom of the page), fill out the information form (all personal information will remain confidential), and stay at home (we will drive to your house and pick up the supplies; specific directions will be given before collection day through emailing or texts). All donated materials will be given directly to the families in need to support them through this pandemic. Social distancing and other CDC guidelines and precautions will be followed when the items are collected. This is a great opportunity to donate any gently used art supplies, school supplies, books, games, or toys that you or your family no longer needs (see below for specifics on what you can and cannot donate).
